Leslie McDonel

 

Leslie most recently starred as Emma Borden in the bloody, female-empowered "LIZZIE" the rock musical at Portland Center Stage.   She was an Original Broadway Cast member of "AMERICAN IDIOT" the Green Day rock opera and had the amazing opportunity to perform with Green Day at the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, Monday Night Football Half Time Show and numerous other TV appearances.  Leslie also played Heather on the 1st National Tour of "AMERICAN IDIOT".  Other Broadway/Tour credits include "LEGALLY BLONDE" as Kate/Chutney and "HAIRSPRAY" as Louann.   Leslie was most recently seen in New York City in two scantily-clad endeavors; "BURLESQUE TO BROADWAY" at the Gramercy Theater and guest performing with The Skivvies, a musical comedy duo.   She loves to travel and has been lucky enough to work around the world, from Vienna to Texas.  Favorite credits include Vivienne in "LEGALLY BLONDE",  Julia in "TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA: the musical", Marty in "GREASE" and Velma Kelly in "CHICAGO".  She lives in Brooklyn with her gremlin, Winnie.  Leslie is beyond excited to sing with these amazing women.
